Titans Commanders

Last year’s AFC top seed, the Tennessee Titans, make the trip to the nation’s capital to face off against the Commanders in week 5. If you bet on NFL betting odds call this cross-conference matchup?

The Super Bowl window. They had a fearsome defense last season, with Harold Landry having a career-high 12 sacks and Jeffrey Simmons and Denico Autry also contributing. These three all return, so they should be able to get back to being an imposing unit. The offense has more questions, with many putting the blame for their disappointing playoff exit in the hands of QB Ryan Tannehill who threw three interceptions. Rookie Treylon Burks needs to be a star right away to kickstart the ing game and replace AJ Brown’s role.

Defensively, the Indianapolis Colts and adding Brian Robinson to the backfield. Combining these additions with Terry McClaurin should improve the scoring power of a team that struggled in that aspect in 2021.

With these two sides coming from opposite conferences, they have only met 13 times in their histories. Tennessee holds the edge 7-6 and also won their last meeting 25-16 in 2018. It is likely the odds will favor a repeat, with Tennessee being a far more complete team, and they should take care of business here and get the W.
